Short bio
I am currently a research scientist at CNR, Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies.
I got a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2000.
From 2001 to 2016 I was a research fellow and then a research scientist at CNR, Institute of Cellular Biology and Neurobiology.
During these years, my studies focused on yeast genetics and molecular biology; I analyzed the RNA processing and the G-protein-coupled receptors pathways using yeast S. cerevisiae as model system.
In 2017, I began studying primate behaviour and cognition.
Research interests
I am interested in biology and behavior of non-human primates and especially in the cognitive capacities involved in decision making, symbolic reasoning, numerical cognition and social influences on individual learning.
